Macmillan Cancer Support
When you have cancer, you don’t just worry about what will happen to your body, you worry about what will happen to your life.
At Macmillan, we know how a cancer diagnosis can affect everything and we’re here to support you through. From help with money worries and advice about work, to someone who’ll listen if you just want to talk, we’ll be there.
We’ll help you make the choices you need to take back control, so you can start to feel like yourself again.
Every day in Leicestershire 13 people in the county hear the devastating news they have cancer, and six people die from the illness. This will see Leicestershire’s population of people living with cancer more than double between 2010 and 2030.
Join Team Macmillan for the Leicester Marathon and Half Marathon on the 25th October 2015. We’ll kit you out with a branded running vest and iron on letters, training tips, fundraising pack and the support of our fundraising team to help you to achieve your target. On event day we’ll be there to shout, whistle and cheer you all on at our cheer points and in the charity village.
