At last – entries are now open for the 2015 Leicester Marathon & Half Marathon.  This year it is on Sunday 25th of October. Remember last year’s event was a complete sell out so please get your entry in early to avoid disappointment.

The forecast for Sunday looks like a good one for distance running. It will be overcast with light cloud and no rain is predicted. Temperatures range from 11 degrees at the start and rising to a high of 14 degrees by 1pm. There be an easterly breeze. Good luck everybody and whether you are running of cheering on the runners have a great day.

London Marathon’s ‘bionic woman’ Claire Lomas to open Leicester Marathon Leicestershire’s Claire Lomas who famously completed the London Marathon in 16 days using her ReWalk suit will officially start the Leicester Marathon next month (October).
