Vista changes lives! We support over 12,500 children, adults and older people affected by sight loss every year, whether they have sight loss, are family members, carers or friends.  We are the leading local sight loss organisation working across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland with people of all ages and from all backgrounds.

Our three key aims are:

1) Promote eye health to prevent sight loss

2) Reduce the impact of sight loss

3) Provide care and support for people with sight loss.

Through our wide range of community and residential services we work with people to remove barriers to health, employment, education and social networks, helping them to maintain their independence and a positive sense of wellbeing.

Our services include early years eye health projects, a mobile outreach service, information and advice in local hospitals, a dedicated helpline, a children and family support service, rehabilitation, digital and social inclusion projects, and a bursary scheme. Vista also operates four specialist residential care homes in the local area; two for older people with sight loss and dementia, and two for adults with learning disabilities and sight loss.
